EC UNO Hosting Earth Week Activities on Campus, April 17 - 18, 2007

Plans are currently underway to promote Earth Day, 2007, with various activities on campus on April 17 and 18. Events will take place in the commons area (weather permitting) and in the Milo Bail Student Center. The schedule currently includes:

Tuesday, April 17:

MBSC Dodge Room (Third Floor)

9:00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m.: First FREE screening of "Earth to America"

10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Second FREE screening of "Earth to America"

12:00 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.: Third FREE screening of "Earth to America"

Outside Commons Area

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Informational tables, Talloires Declaration petition available to sign

Wednesday, April 18:

MBSC Nebraska Room

9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.: First FREE screening of "Too Hot Not To Handle"

10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Second FREE screening of "Too Hot Not To Handle"

11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.: Bill Moore, Editor of EV World, and Papillion, NE native, will give a guest presentation on sustainable transportation

Outside Commons Area

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.: Informational tables, Talloires Declaration petititon available to sign

Ultimate Frisbee Game

1:00 p.m.: On the quad in front of Eppley Administration Building. Just show up ready to play!
