Geography - Track III: Techniques

The Division of Continuing Studies offers the Bachelor of General Studies degree with an area of concentration in geography. A certificate in Geographic Information System is available with this track.

Required:

GEOG 1000 Fundamentals of World Regional Geography 3 hrs
or
    
GEOG 1020 Introduction to Human Geography 3 hrs
     
GEOG 1060 Physical Geography: Climate and Waters 4 hrs
GEOG 1070 Physical Geography: Soils and Landforms 4 hrs
GEOG 3530 Introduction to Cartography and GIS 2 hrs
GEOG 3540 Introduction to Cartography and GIS Lab 2 hrs
  Geography electives 15 hrs

Geography electives:

To include one course from the following: GEOG 2620, GEOG 4020, GEOG 4030, GEOG 4050, GEOG 4610, GEOG 4630, GEOG 4660, or GEOG 4800.
