Biography

Cat Dixon teaches creative writing as an adjunct at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. She is the secretary of The Backwaters Press. Her work has appeared in Sugar House Review, Midwest Quarterly Review, Coe Review, Eclectica among others. She has poems forthcoming from The Untidy Season Anthology. Her poems were selected for a 2011 Lit Undressed event part of the annual Downtown Omaha Lit Fest. Collaborating with military veteran and Unitarian minister Shawna Foster, she is putting together an anthology that will feature veteran poetry and art to be published May 2013.
