After the closing of the Neighborhood Center in February, the Neighborhood Alliances in the city of Omaha identified a needs assessment as a necessary next step in planning what will take its place. This needs assessment may help the Alliances to identify strategies that make best use of existing resources and offer the best response to neighborhood conditions. This needs assessment is using a variety of methods to gather information, including neighborhood alliance forums, a neighborhood leadership survey, and neighborhood forums.
Results of the different activities of the needs assessment will be posted here as they become available.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Jerry Deichert at (402) 554.2134, firstname.lastname@example.org.
The final report, outcomes and recommendations of the needs assessment were presented to the leaders of the Neighborhood Alliances and other in a public meeting on Novebmer 15.
The final report can be downloaded here, either with or without the appendices.
