2002 census of agriculture.

The Census of Agriculture is conducted every five years by the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). The Census is a comprehensive source of uniform data regarding a broad spectrum of agricultural topics. The Census attempts to collect information about every farm and ranch in the United States. Report forms for the 2002 Census of Agriculture were mailed to all known and potential farm and ranch operators. Additional information regarding the Census of Agriculture and data profiles for the nation and states can be accessed at http://www.nass.usda.gov/census/.
