public art prospectus - request for qualifications.

RFQ PROJECT SUMMARY:
RFQ SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 14, 2008

The University of Nebraska at Omaha College of Public Affairs and Community Service (CPACS), in accordance with the State of Nebraska One Percent for Art legislation, seeks artwork for the new College of Public Affairs and Community Service building, presently under construction on the campus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha, in Omaha, Nebraska. A committee has been formed to administrate this process: the CPACS Artwork Selection Committee.

The CPACS Artwork Selection Committee’s interest is in timeless, highly visual, original permanent artwork. This artwork will enhance the student and visitor’s experience of the CPACS building architecture and learning environment while addressing the unique connection that exists between the student body, faculty and community as defined by the CPACS mission statement, departmental themes and college culture.
