Students and Faculty

UPDATE MAY 6, 2014:

UNO has enacted the Inclement Weather Plan. All events will move indoors. Changes have been made throughout the commencement website to reflect updated information.

May 2014 Commencement Weekend consists of two parts:

The Conferral of Degrees on Friday, May 9 and the College Convocations on Saturday, May 10. Each graduating student is expected to attend both the Friday and Saturday events.

Festivities begin Friday, May 9 with the Conferral of Degrees ceremony. Chancellor John Christensen will officially confer degrees to candidates from all colleges. The evening concludes with a campus-wide reception.

Signature Convocation ceremonies for each college will take place at various locations throughout campus on Saturday, May 10. Each college hosts a celebratory reception immediately following their ceremony.

Faculty will be present at the events to help acknowledge the academic achievements of our new alumni.

Students, let us be the first to congratulate you on the culmination of all of your hard work! Our faculty and staff look forward to helping you celebrate.
