The Systems Staff maintains classrooms and computer labs that directly support academic and research endeavors of the College. Each lab is unique in function, and customized to suit student, faculty, and staff needs.
Public lab computers are available on the first floor on the back of the building adjacent to the atrium. More computers will be added to the 2nd and 3rd floor after renovation is complete. Students, faculty, and staff may login to any lab computer using their UNO netID. For software installation requests, please contact us at any time.

Virtual Private Network (VPN)
The University has a Virtual Private Network available for anyone with a valid netID. Connecting to the VPN allows you to access your files, connect to network shares, and more. Connect to the UNO VPN with your netID credentials here: https://uno-vpn.unomaha.edu.
PKI provides an unencrypted wireless network for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. To connect set your SSID to 'UNOGuest'. More information can be found here: http://is.unomaha.edu/systems/wireless.php.
There are two College printers available for Faculty and Staff use located in rooms 170 and 270 with scanning, copying, and stapling functionality built in. These printers are automatically installed when you login to your office computer using the IS&T domain. To locate them on your Windows computer open your control panel and click printers. Students with a valid UNO Net ID and MavCard may use the WEPA print kiosk on the first floor, west side adjacent to the atrium. For more information, see instructions here.

MSDNaa (Dreamspark) - MSDNaa also known as Dreamspark is program that allows us to offer free Microsoft applications to our students. Full copies of Windows Operating Systems are part of the many pieces of software available through the program. Click the link on the left for a full list of software. New software will be added as it becomes available to us.
Who Can Sign Up?
Only students that have majors or minors declared in the College of IS&T or are faculty or staff members in the College of IS&T are eligible to sign up.
I've Signed Up, But Where Is My Information?
Because we validate each person to make sure they are in the College of IS&T, it may take a few days before you receive an email with your login information.

Erwin Process Modeler 7.1 - Process modeling software for student use. Download and extract the .zip file, then run setup.exe.
Erwin Data Modeler 8.2. - Data modeling software for student use. *Note* this version only allows for 25 tables. To unlock the full version, please fill out this form. You will receive an email with a license key within 3-5 days from the Erwin support team.
PC Alert Software - Use your Net ID credentials. Install this software to receive PC Desktop alerts from UNO for emergency events, school closings and other critical announcements.
UNO VPN Client Software - This software is necessary for use by those having authorized need to connect to on-campus services from off-campus locations.
