The CADRE Project is a nationally-recognized program designed for newly certified elementary or secondary teachers. The project provides an opportunity for teachers to complete an accelerated master's program while receiving support from UNO faculty, veteran teachers, and other first year teachers. The program centers around the exchange of knowledge and services between UNO and participating local school districts by placing fully licensed CADRE Teachers in classrooms throughout the participating districts.
The CADRE Project, an intentional network of teachers, public school districts, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, exists to enhance teaching and learning by providing educational opportunities and support for entry year teachers and unlimited professional development for veteran teachers.
