Formal Admission Process
Students in the Literacy, Elementary Education, and Secondary Education graduate programs seeking a Master of Science degree must apply to have their status changed from provisional to fully admitted as a candidate for the Master's degree.
Members of the teacher education department graduate committee review and evaluate the formal admission materials to determine if the student's status will be changed from "provisional" to fully admitted. During the semester in which you have completed 12 hours of TED courses in Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and Literacy programs, you must submit a Formal Admission Letter of Application and Plan of Study to your advisor.
For a Formal Admission packet (4 pages):
1. Formal Admission Cover Sheet
2. Degree checklist for students
3. Guidelines for Letter of Application
4. Plan of Study (see options below)
A packet may also be obtained by contacting your advisor or by stopping in the Teacher Education Department, Roskens Hall 308.
