Dance at UNO: The Moving Company
The Moving Company annually presents a salon or studio production and produces or participates in a formal modern dance concert. Most recently, the Company has collaborated on site-specific works for the Joslyn Art Museum, the Omaha Public Library, Glacier Creek Prairie, St. Cecilia's Cathedral, the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, UNO's Percussion Ensemble and Ensemble 768, Holland Center for the Performing Arts, Creighton Dance Company and The Durham Museum. The Company hosts a "Dance of the People Series" that includes African Dance & Drumming, Reach for It: A Program of Dance for Persons with Parkinson's, the Omaha International Folk Dancers, and the UNO's the DanceFloor (ballroom).
