Health, Physical Education and Recreation
The School of Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) recently renovated our building to accommodate for the growth of our programs and our desire to meet the needs of 21st century students. Our transformed physical space now matches the level and quality of our faculty and staff. Plan a visit to the School and explore the UNO campus.
The School of HPER is committed to excellence and the faculty is dedicated to teaching, scholarly activity and service. The primary mission of the School of HPER is to prepare students for successful careers or advanced academic studies in Health Education, Physical Education and Recreation. The faculty shares a common sense of purpose to provide the knowledge, resources, and opportunities that will enable students to possess the skills and dispositions necessary to become dedicated practitioners, reflective scholars, and responsible citizens.
