The Literacy Support Services offer both a vital training ground for students in the graduate Reading Program and a valuable service for area school-age youth in need of reading/literacy support. Students and reading/language arts faculty members work with clients to determine their needs and to devise strategies that help clients learn key word recognition, comprehension, organizational, study, and/or other skills. The services are conducted at community-based sites, coordinated by the Teacher Education Department.
