UNO services for veteran students.

UNO understands the needs of veterans seeking education opportunities and we are here to help! The University of Nebraska at Omaha has had a presence on Offutt Air Force Base since 1950. Our partnership with the military was a cornerstone in the creation of the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree program and prepares us to meet the needs of students with current or prior military service. You can even use your military experience and training to gain credit toward a BGS degree.

UNO has a Veterans Services Office that is available to assist you in making the most of your veteran benefits. All veterans (or current military planning to use the GI Bill in the future) are strongly encouraged to contact this office to take full advantage of your service benefits.
