Transferring credits to UNO.
Students who are coming to UNO with credit from another college/university, CLEP and DSST examinations, and/or military experience have the ability to apply that credit to their Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree. Check out the information below to find out how:

- Talk to a knowledgable Enrollment Advisor to find out how your previous college and military experience fits into the BGS degree.
Meet with you advisor to find out the course requirements of your particular degree program. For the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree, 24 of the last 48 hours earned must be in residence at UNO, with nine of those hours being upper division for Option 1 and six hours in two areas of emphasis in Option 2.
