The University of Nebraska at Omaha has had a presence on Offutt Air Force Base since 1950. In that time, we have been working to increase undergraduate education opportunities for active duty, veterans, reserve/guard, retired military, and dependents. The Division of Continuing Studies, in partnership with the Offutt Air Force Base Education Office, offers special services to military students (active duty, guard/reserve, veterans, and retired) and their families right on base. Follow the links below to find out how we are trying to serve you!
Get personal, one-on-one assistance when you schedule an appointment with an Academic Advisor. Schedule an appointment online or call 402.595.2371.
Students may take their proctored UNO Math and English placement exams right on Offutt AFB. Placement exams are administered by appointment only. Contact the UNO Offutt AFB Programs Office at 402.595.2371 to schedule one.
Once you have been admitted to UNO and met with an advisor about your degree plan, you can register for classes at MavLink. Active duty students must register for classes and apply for tuition assistance (TA) by the first day of the term.
Even when an Offutt AFB class is full, military members may still be able to enroll. This includes both online and on base classes. Military members include active duty and reserve/guard. Call UNO Offutt AFB Programs at 402.595.2371 to get a permit.

The academic year at Offutt Air Force Base is evenly divided into three 14-week semesters as opposed to the 16-week Fall and Spring semesters and short Summer sessions on UNO's main campus. In addition, classes are offered on Offutt AFB that can be completed in half a semester.
UNO offers CLEP and DSST testing services for Offutt AFB. All exams take place in Classroom 19, Building D, on Offutt AFB.
Testing services are open to all members of the Offutt AFB community, including active duty military, reserver/guard, retired military, dependents, contractors, and civilian employees. However, active duty military and qualified civilian employees have priority and others are scheduled on a space available basis.
