instrumentation and equipment
The UNO chemistry department occupies the entire third floor of the Durham Science Center. The building was constructed on the western end of the UNO campus in 1987. The chemistry department occupies about 30,000 square feet of the facility. Nine laboratories are available for instruction. Four additional laboratories are available for students performing undergraduate research. These laboratories are equipped with a wide variety of modern instrumentation, much of it computer controlled, including:
