Student Services
We, in the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media, are focused on placing students first. We offer many services to both our current students and those interested in becoming CCFAM majors.

Undergraduate advising is one of the main functions we offer. Our advisors play an integral role in assisting students with successful college planning, ensuring they meet graduation requirements in a timely manner. Our student service professionals offer one-on-one advising sessions, evaluation of transfer credits, senior checks and graduation audits.

During an incoming student’s first two semesters, s/he will meet with Katie Cameron, Coordinator of Student Services, Lisa German, Assistant Coordinator of Student Services, or Dr. Melissa Berke (music). Students entering their third semester at UNO will begin working with a faculty advisor knowledgeable in the major field of study.

Beyond advising, we assist students with career exploration, resume & cover letter review, probation/suspension counseling, and referrals to other UNO offices. We serve as contacts for CCFAM athletes, honors students, and students enrolled in the Goodrich program.
