In the College of Communication, Fine Arts and Media students are encouraged to fully explore their creative possibilities. Study through CFAM can provide you with enriching and rewarding experiences in communication and the arts on campus, in the Omaha metropolitan area and around the world. Visit our student-maintained CFAM Facebook Page to stay posted on events and opportunities.
CFAM also houses UNO's student writing organization The Crop, which hosts open workshops for creative writers of every department and major. The Crop is a valuable networking tool for writers within the university and the community. For more information on reading and writing opportunities visit The Crop Hompage, or join The Crop Facebook group. Take advantage of electronic workshops by requesting enrollment on The CROP Blackboard site.
The "C" in CFAM stands for the School of Communication, which includes The Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). The UNO PRSSA has been recognized for outstanding achievements, university service, and community service in the past. It was named the Outstanding Chapter during the 2009 National Conference in San Diego.
