ccms instructions.

To access and use the Course Change Management System (CCMS)

Go to www.unomaha.edu
On the left-hand side of the page:

Click on Academic & Student Affairs
Click on Academic Affairs
Click on Forms and Guidelines
Partway down the page, below Curriculum Development,
Click on Online Course Form
(BOOKMARK THIS PAGE)

Enter your user id and password (the same one you would use to log into Blackboard OR Lotus notes from off campus)

TO MAKE CHANGES TO CURRENT COURSES

  1. On the left side of the page, click on COURSE MANAGEMENT
  2. Click on CURRICULUM and choose the area you want to enter info for.
  3. All of the existing courses will show up on the right side.
  4. Click on the course to start entering info from the most recent syllabus.
  5. Do you best matching syllabus to format for the CCMS.
  6. SAVE AND EXIT if you are not done working on it yet OR
  7. SAVE AND PROMOTE if you want it to move up to the DEAN for review

 

TO ENTER A NEW COURSE

  1. On the left side of the page, click on COURSE MANAGEMENT
  2. Click on ADD A NEW COURSE on the right side of the page
  3. A blank form will show up with two tabs – COURSE and SYLLABUS. You will need to fill both of them in fully.
  4. SAVE AND EXIT if you are not done working on it yet OR
  5. SAVE AND PROMOTE if you want it to move up to the DEAN for review

 

TO VIEW A COURSE IN QUE FOR APPROVAL

  1. On the left side of the page, click on LOCATION.
  2. The courses will show up on the right side under FACULTY/DEAN/ACADEMIC AFFAIRS.
  3. Click on the COURSE tab to read about it.
  4. Click the SYLLABUS tab to read about it.

Go to ccms now.
