The purpose of the Chancellor's Commission on the Status of Women (CCSW) shall be to serve as an advisory council to the chancellor and other university administrators on issues that relate to women students, faculty, and staff at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. The commission is to monitor the status of women on the UNO campus and to recommend ways of improving that status.

 

CCSW 27th Annual Awards Luncheon

The luncheon is Wednesday March 27 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm at the Milo Bail Student center Ballroom. The award winners are:

  • Outstanding Achievement - Sara Woods, Assistant to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Community Engagement

  • Community Service - Union Pacific Women in Technology Initiative

  • Scholarship Winner - Samantha Robb, Political Science/International Relations
  • 2013 Legendary Woman of UNO recipient will be announced at luncheon

Thanks to the generosity of the Senior Vice Chancellor and the Office of Academic and Student Affairs, the ticket cost is only $5 for staff, faculty, students and the general public. Luncheon tickets, on sale in the MBSC Business Office, can be purchased by phone at 402.554.2979 or by e-mail to ghotaling@mail.unomaha.edu through Friday, March 22. Departments can also reserve tables of eight for $40 by contacting the Business Office.
