The Center for ePortfolio Based Assessment (CeBA)

What is CeBA?

CeBA was created primarily in response to nationwide efforts seeking to identify more appropriate methods to document the impact on student learning, demonstrate continuous progress toward strategic goals and objectives, and address compliance with standards at postsecondary institutions.  The nationwide support for portfolio-based assessment has begun to grow and such an initiative is particularly appropriate for UNO’s institutional portfolio approach, which we have determined will provide the reflective and collaborative results most useful for effecting and demonstrating continuous improvement.

UNO’s Center for ePortfolio Based Assessment (CeBA) is a University of Nebraska Board of Regents approved entity focusing on two primary goals:

1. Facilitating and synthesizing research related to ePortfolios and their impact on student learning



2. Providing a dissemination and educational platform for UNO’s innovative myMAPP ePortfolio system
