GAIT ANAYSIS FOR RUNNERS AND WALKERS

The HPER Biomechanics Laboratory offers an extensive biomechanical evaluation of your running style to properly prescribe a shoe for you. The evaluation includes a thorough lower extremity examination, and measurement of biomechanical parameters from a high-speed video analysis of your running and walking style. The participant receives a detailed description of possible anatomical deficiencies, an exercise prescription and a prescription for selecting a proper running shoe.

BIOMECHANICAL CONSULTATIONS

The HPER Biomechanics Laboratory will provide consultation on sports and orthopedic equipment, other biomechanical related applications and forensic biomechanics (expert witness). Additionally, our staff can be hired to develop custom laboratory software for your biomechanical applications.
