Recovery of Postural Control After Cerebral Concussion: New Insights Using Approximate Entropy

The article cited above was selected as the winner of the 2006 Journal of Athletic Training Kenneth L. Knight Award for Outstanding Research Manuscript. The award will be presented at the annual meeting of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) on Thursday June 28, 2007 in Anaheim, CA.

Dr. James T. Cavanaugh, currently at Durham VA Medical Center,
studied and trained with Dr. Nick Stergiou during his doctoral Studies
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since then they have
collaborated on several articles which have been published. At present,
Dr. Stergiou is a consultant on Dr. Cavanaugh's NIH grant Walking
Activity and the Burden of Multiple Morbidities.
