UNO BioInformatics - Degree Electives

BIOINFORMATICS RECOMMENDED ELECTIVES

A student must elect three courses (totaling to at least 9 credit hours) that satify the following requirements:

A student need not take all electives from the same subject area.
At least two of the three elective courses must be at the upper level (3xxx-4xxx); only one may be a lower level (1xxx-2xxx) course.
The following courses are pre-approved for lower and upper level elective courses.
Students may petition the Bioinformatics undergraduate committee for a course not listed below to count as an elective. Students must completee the Bioinformatics elective proposal form.

Pre-Med & Bioinformatics Majors:

For declared pre-med students (only), the additional courses taken to fulfill the pre-med requirements will completely fulfill the Bioinformatics electives requirement.
