UNO offers a wide selection of bachelor's degree programs.
Our Bachelor's of General Studies (BGS) degree is offered on campus, online or as a hybrid. In fact, U.S. News & World Report ranked UNO's BGS online degree as the #11 bachelor's degree program in the country! The BGS program offers more than 40 areas of study and is designed to support adult students.
You will need to apply through our standard undergraduate application process. Here is all the information you'll need to get started.

The Admission Process
There is a $45 non-refundable application fee for all incoming adult students. Please have your form of payment available by the end of the application process to avoid delays. Additional information is available on the Application Fee Guidelines page.
Applicants who pay the $45 application fee and who do not enroll are eligible to reapply within one year without an additional fee.
If you intend to obtain a Bachelors of General Studies (BGS) degree on Section C, select 'Division of Continuing Studies in CPACS' then choose your major, which is your BGS Area of Concentration.
OR
You may select any major that you're interested in that does not fall within the BGS areas of study. Applicable GPA requirements will apply.
After You Apply
You will start receiving information from the admissions office soon. If you have not received any communication within one week please contact us immediately to inquire.

- Send All Official High School and College Transcript(s)
Please send all of your transcripts whether credit was earned or not. Failure to provide information regarding all post-secondary academic work attempted/completed will be considered fraudulent and result in possible withdrawal of admission or dismissal from the University.
If college credit was earned while in high school, request official college/university transcripts be sent to Admissions.
