Distinction as a Research Institution

The Carnegie Foundation classifies the University of Nebraska Omaha as a Carnegie Doctoral Research University due to the specialized doctoral programs and comprehensive range of master's degrees and certificates offered. In addition to its seven doctoral programs, UNO offers a graduate-level specialist program, 45 master's degree programs and 19 graduate certificates.
