Dr. Sheri Noren Everts.

Sheri Noren Everts, PhD, Interim Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs

Background

Dr. Noren Everts began her tenure at UNO in 1994 as a faculty member in the UNO College of Education’s Department of Teacher Education.

Dr. Noren Everts received her bachelor’s degree in English and secondary education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, her master's degree in literacy education and English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and her PhD in administration, curriculum, and instruction at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Her areas of specialization and interest are e-portfolio-based assessment, student-learning outcomes, and literacy.

Responsibilities

As Interim Senior Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Noren Everts is the Chief Academic Officer and Chief Student Affairs Officer for the university. She is also responsible for the Center for e-Portfolio Based Assessment (CeBA) and campus accreditation.
