Honors & Awards

Honors Month represents UNO's recognition of our outstanding scholastic accomplishments by both our students and faculty. In fact, the academic accomplishments of our students, faculty, alumni and community partners are so exemplary that we have expanded to an entire month, instead of the traditional week. The University Honors Week Committee is responsible for the three university-wide Honors Month events that kick-off Honors Month festivities. Colleges, departments/schools, and organizations also host numerous recognition ceremonies throughout the month.
