Dr. Morrice joined UNO in 2011 and serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor and Assistant Professor of Education. Prior to his current role at UNO, Dr. Morrice served as Assistant Dean at the University of San Diego, Assistant Director at California State University, and Financial Aid Counselor and Doctoral Program Coordinator at Stanford University.
Dr. Morrice's research interests are focused on educational access and outcomes of low-income and first-generation students. He studies issues of postsecondary access and equity, college choice and transfer, higher education policy, and qualitative research methods.
Dr. Morrice earned his B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Higher Education from San Jose State University and Ph.D. in Higher Education from the Center for the Study of Higher and Postsecondary Education and the University of Michigan.
As Associate Vice Chancellor, Dr. Morrice is responsible for leading UNO's strategic enrollment management planning. He is responsible for providing leadership to Undergraduate Admissions, Campus Visits, Dual-Enrollment, Financial Aid, Records and Registration, Testing Office, and Business Systems Intelligence. Dr. Morrice chairs the Enrollment Management Executive Committee, and serves on the Strategic Planning Task Force, Distance Education Council, and African American, Native American and Latino/a Advisory Boards.
