The sole purpose of the Office of Academic and Student Affairs is to provide quality service and support to the students, personnel, colleges and programs of the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Our staff is committed to working with students, faculty and staff to ensure the effective implementation of UNO's strategic plan, which builds upon solid academic programs, a student centered philosophy, and continuing community engagement. This mission guides the delivery of every academic course and program at UNO. OASA also supports programs and services which are designed to assist students in defining, clarifying and achieving their educational goals as well as focusing on each student's personal, interpersonal, intellectual, and physical development. All of this is a part of our efforts to assist in building and maintaining a superior learning environment which supports high quality education.
