Paul Beck Memorial
Scholarship
The Faculty Senate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha has sponsored scholarships for meritorious students since 1970 when Paul L. Beck, a long-time member of the History Department, urged faculty and staff to go beyond the classroom to assist capable students in their educational pursuits at UNO. Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply for the Paul L. Beck Memorial Faculty/Staff Scholarship.
Four scholarships will be awarded for the 2008-2009 academic year as follows:
- One Full-Time UNO Undergraduate Scholarship ($650)
- One Part-Time UNO Undergraduate Scholarship ($350)
- One Full-Time UNO Graduate Scholarship ($650)
- One Part-Time UNO Graduate Scholarship ($350)
* Applicants must be students in good standing at UNO with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
* Both resident and non-resident UNO students may apply
* Undergraduates must be UNO SENIORS during the term of the award.
* All criteria/requirements must be fulfilled.
Applications are available on-line, in the Faculty Senate office (ASH 105)or the Financial Aid office (EAB 103).
